About Us

Leo’s House of Bagels was founded by Leonardos Gavallias, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York City – bagel capital of the world. Leo has more than 30 years of experience in producing New York style bagels, including at the famed Murray’s Bagels on 6th Avenue. Since his childhood, when he began working in the restaurant business, it has been Leo’s dream to bring New York bagels to his parents’ homeland, Greece. Today, Leo’s dream has become a reality. Leo’s House of Bagels is the only dedicated producer of authentic New York City bagels in all of Greece and Southeastern Europe, operating a brand-new, high-standard production facility in Pallini, a suburb of Athens.

Our company’s mission is to continue building on Leo’s dream, by producing a full range of authentic, high-quality New York style bagels and distributing our products wholesale all over Greece and around the world. We strive for our bagels to be at the center of unique, enjoyable and nutritional taste experiences on every occasion, at any time of the day.
